The best, most practical design—and it makes that lid look absolutely beautiful.

"I love this universal lid—kudos to the designer. It’s actually the only one I use for my entire cookware set, since the standard lids included with the set lack steam vents, causing pots to boil over and make a mess of the stove. To make the set look truly spectacular and perfect, I think all the lids should feature the logo integrated with those vent holes (perhaps a small metal piece with the logo that could slide to cover the vents for heat retention or open them while cooking to let steam escape). Also, the handles should be slightly larger to ensure better proportions and a more beautiful appearance."

Love my pans

"Cooking on my induction cooktop is a breeze. Able to flip omelets, sauté vegetables, or sear meat easily and cleanly. Some staining occurs but I'm able to get back to a pristine finish with the included polish. Pans come out better than new!"

The 12. 5" Nanobond pan is great but the promotional lid is useless

"I haven't cooked on stainless before so I'm still getting used to it, but so far I really like this pan. But to explain my reaction to the promotional lid they sent me, allow me to invent a little story: Suppose you saw a dealer advertise a diesel car with a promotion that with the purchase you will get 100 gallons of fuel for free. You reason . . . "well that's a pretty expensive car, but the performance is great and at least I can drive for the first few months for free". So you get the car and after it arrives you see that the 100 gallons of free fuel is actually gasoline which is worse than useless for a diesel car. You would not be happy right. The dealer is not only morally bankrupt but he is stupid as well. Providing diesel fuel wouldn't cost much more than the gasoline and would provide goodwill from the customer instead of just pissing them off. I tried to use the lid that was sent to me with the pan and I can tell you it is about as useless as gasoline in a diesel car. You can get the lid to balance on top of the pan if you aren't cooking anything, but the smallest amount of steam will cause the lid to slide off the pan. The only way you could use the lid is if you are holding it the whole time, but who uses a lid like that? So the team at Hestan that designed this promotion are as morally bankrupt and as stupid as the people in my made up little story. Hestan makes a tight fitting lid designed for this pan. Sure, providing that tight fitting lid as a promotion would cost them a little more than the universal lid but at least they would be providing something useful that generates goodwill with the customer instead of just annoying them or perhaps even pissing them off."
