Over time, stainless steel may stain due to oil build up. Any staining or residue can be scrubbed with the powdered version of Barkeeper's friend and a soft scrubber.

"I bought these pans to replace my All-Clad pans. When I bought the All-Clad pans they were advertised as being dishwasher safe. Turns out they are not. All-Clad does not have sealed edges but the Hestan pans do! The pans cook great, feel substantial (not flimsy like most cheaper brands) and are great too cook with."

Be sure to use butter/oil!!!

"This is the first nonstick pan that I've owned that requires the use of butter/oil to cook with. The manual correctly states that, but of course I'm a guy and didn't read the manual and dropped eggs straight into the pan. They immediately bonded to the pan and it took significant effort to clean. Once back to clean and the manual consulted (also for proper cleaning), cooking with the pans have been a breeze."

"I have to say, they are everything I read they would be. They were securely packed and once I unpacked them, they are so beautiful let them sit on the counter for a few days to just admire them! I have now used all but one so far. I love cooking with them! They feel so good in your hand, just love the handles. I am starting to get the hang of getting them not to stick. I’m sure that will become more natural over time. I’m hoping they inspire me to up my cooking game ;) I know there was probably something out there I could have gotten by with but I just kept coming back to these. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!"
